Hello there! đź‘‹
I'm Parisa, a Washington, D.C.-based UX Designer with about eight years of expertise in problem-solving, user research, and product design.
My Experience
I bring diverse industry experience in retail, energy, and finance, specializing in designing enterprise and customer-facing applications across multiple platforms, including mobile, tablet, desktop, in-store kiosks, and virtual reality. With two master's degrees in Graphic Design and Project Management with a concentration in Human-Centered Interaction Design, I offer a solid educational foundation. In my recent role at Duke Energy, I led end-to-end UX design processes, from concept to execution, conducting user research, creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and facilitating usability testings.
My Design Process
I employ this approach to ensure that the experiences I design effectively meet user needs. Each element helps in comprehending user requirements, generating innovative concepts, and verifying their functionality.

At the discovery stage, I delve deeply into the real problems of users through user research, conducting interviews, and gathering data while listening to their pain points. During this phase, I employ various methods, such as personas, empathy maps, and service blueprints, to uncover users' interactions with the service or product I am designing.
I then synthesize these insights, analyze them, and try to define the core problem based on prior studies.
In the design phase, I generate a wide range of solutions and prototype them.
During the testing phase, I evaluate different solutions and alternatives with users, iterating the design based on their feedback. I continue iterating until I provide the optimal solution for their needs.
